Graduation parties work fine in a backyard

Every banquet hall in Parker and Castle Rock is booked solid from late April through June. Ask anyone who tried to reserve one for a Saturday in May and got offered a Tuesday instead. A backyard doesn’t have that problem, and for a graduate’s open house it’s often the better format anyway: people drop by for twenty minutes instead of sitting through a seated program that pins the whole afternoon to one hour.

What actually makes it work

An open house works because guests come in waves, not all at once. That means the yard needs something for the kids who show up with their parents and get bored the moment the adults start talking about senior year. A bounce castle solves that specific problem better than a yard game does, because it doesn’t need someone running it.

Classic Castle is a 13 by 13 foot open castle with a single slide, and it fits in most side yards without crowding the folding tables. Castle with Slide is bigger, 15 by 16 feet with a slide on each side, and it holds up to 1,000 pounds at once against 800 for the smaller one. If you’re expecting a big cousin crowd, that’s the number that matters more than the footprint.

The weather gamble

May and June in Colorado are not a sure thing, and we’d rather tell you that now than have you find out on the day. We don’t deliver in wind over 15 to 20 mph, and nothing goes up in rain, the water slide included, because the blower motor can’t get wet. A hose on the slide is fine. Rain on the blower is not. Practically, that means picking a backup hour rather than a backup day. Most Colorado storms in late spring roll through and clear inside an hour or two. We’d rather move your delivery window than cancel on you.

A piñata instead of a second activity

We sell piñatas outright rather than renting them, five designs at a time, and you can add one to a castle booking or buy one on its own. For a grad party it doubles as the photo moment the open-house format is usually missing: gather everyone around for five minutes, then back to grazing the snack table. Where we deliver at no charge

Parker, Denver, Aurora, Castle Rock, Littleton and Centennial, named individually because “and surrounding areas” isn’t a real answer to “will you come to my street.” Setup runs 30 to 45 minutes from the trailer opening to the first jump, and we come back the same day to break it down.
